Thesis
Riverlane builds the quantum error-correction (QEC) layer — the decoders and control software that turn noisy physical qubits into reliable logical ones. Error correction is the gating problem between today's machines and useful fault-tolerant quantum computing, and Riverlane sells a modality-agnostic QEC stack to hardware makers and national programs.
The investment case is owning the error-correction bottleneck that every quantum roadmap must cross. As a private name it has no market cap here; coverage conviction reflects a strategic but pre-commercial position. Risks: QEC is also being built in-house by the large hardware players, the timeline to fault tolerance is uncertain, and the addressable market is early.
