Qualcomm is the leading vendor of on-device AI silicon for phones, AI PCs, and automotive cockpits. Snapdragon SoCs ship with Hexagon NPUs that increasingly run multi-billion-parameter models locally. As inference shifts from cloud to edge, Qualcomm is one of the few vendors with a credible, shipping-at-scale edge-AI compute stack.
Smartphone exposure remains the largest single revenue driver and the largest cyclical risk. Diversification into automotive and PCs is real but still small relative to handsets.
