Thesis

Armis discovers and secures every connected asset in an environment — IT, OT, IoT, and medical devices — that traditional agent-based tools can't see, then layers exposure management and threat detection on top. As factories, hospitals, and critical infrastructure get networked, the unmanaged-asset attack surface is exactly the gap Armis addresses.

The investment case is owning the asset-intelligence layer for cyber-physical environments, a fast-growing category bridging IT and OT security. As a private name it has no market cap here; coverage conviction reflects strong position and scale ahead of a likely IPO. Risks: competition from Claroty, Microsoft, and CAASM entrants; rich private valuation; and the long enterprise/OT sales cycle.

Catalysts

  • ARR growth and path to IPO
  • OT / critical-infrastructure customer wins
  • Exposure-management platform expansion
  • Competitive dynamics vs. Claroty / hyperscaler-native tools
